3. Data Sources

Building permit data displayed on LeoLeads is sourced from publicly available government open-data portals (e.g., LA City Open Data). This data is public record and is not collected from private individuals. Contact information displayed for contractors and applicants comes from public permit filings.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Firebase Authentication: For user sign-in (Google, email/password)
  • Google Cloud Firestore: For data caching and configuration storage
  • Google Maps Platform: For map display and Street View imagery
  • Netlify: For hosting and deployment

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to store your preferences (favorites, column settings, filter state). We do not use tracking cookies. Third-party services (Firebase, Google Maps) may set their own cookies.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Cached permit data is retained for performance purposes and refreshed periodically.
